Charles & Nephew- London Double Fusee Chain Clock striking every hour on the bell. It has very nicely engraved silver dial. Charles Nephew & Co also operating in Kolkatta (India) during 19th Century. The inscription "Calcutta" on the dial suggests that this particular clock was either made in Calcutta or in London specifically made for the Indian market. Many British and European clock makers established their branches in India (especially Mumbai or Calcutta) and use to mention the City name from where they operate.
