The unique feature of this clock is that every hour a door (at the top, left hand side) opens, a man comes out with a hammer and strikes the bell. No maker's name found on the movement. It is assumed to be made on order. Very rare piece of  clock.

Before restoration the clock was in very bad condition, kept unused for many years. It was fully restored, keeping all original- Now working perfectly well and keeping good time. Both the sides a small removable window is given for viewing the mechanism.
